It all started in Wimbledon, where Liverpool native Jonathan Marray, along with Danish partner Frederik Nielsen, became the first Brit to win a Grand Slam doubles title in 76 years. Just the day before that historic win, Andy Murray had become the first since Bunny Austin in 1938 to reach the Wimbledon final.
