Andy Murray on the Mend After Back Surgery

World n°3 Andy Murray underwent yesterday a back surgery in order to, hopefully, rid him once and for all of the problems that have been ailing him for the last two years.

The 26-year-old, when he came around, proceeded to tweet a picture of himself in his hospital bed, thanking everyone for the messages he has received over the last few days.

He also took the occasion to go with a little bit of humour of his own, just like he did when he confirmed the news of his surgery:

 

Now comes the tricky part of the rehabilitation for the Scot, who is likely to miss the remainder of the season in the process.

We wish him a speedy and complete recovery and hope to see him back on court soon!
